Berry's Superior Plated 40 S&W/10mm 200gr FP 0.401" Reloading Bullets 500 Count

Berry s Manufacturing Superior Plated Features The Berry s Superior Plated bullet starts life as a swaged lead core that is plated to final weight rather than simply dipped then re-struck after plating to true up its dimensions for consistent accuracy shot after shot. That re-striking step is what separates a plated bullet built for precision from a cheaper coated projectile and it shows up downrange as tighter more repeatable groups for the handloader. Because the plating fully encases the lead core the .401 bullet does not expose bare lead to the bore the way an unjacketed lead bullet does which means less leading to scrape out during cleaning. Berry s notes these bullets can handle velocities up to 1250 fps giving reloaders room to load everything from mild target loads to brisker practice ammunition in .40 SW or 10mm. At 200 grains with a flat point profile this bullet is built for feeding reliability and predictable terminal performance in semi-auto platforms where a flat meplat helps ensure consistent function through the feed ramp. The 500-count box is sized for shooters who load in volume whether that means stocking a reloading bench for a full season of range trips or working up loads for a defensive or competition cartridge without running short mid-session. Berry s publishes SAAMI max overall length figures for both chamberings the bullet serves 1.135 for .40 SW and 1.250 for 10mm giving handloaders a clear starting reference when seating. For reloaders who want jacketed-bullet accuracy and cleanliness at a more affordable price point the Berry s Superior Plated 200 grain FP is a dependable choice for the bench.
