Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod 30" .17-.20 Caliber

Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod Features The Birchwood Casey Premium Carbon Cleaning Rod is constructed from a durable one piece carbon material that resists flexing and breakage compared to lighter aluminum rods giving shooters a sturdier tool for regular bore maintenance. Dual ball bearings built into the handle allow the rod to rotate freely as it travels down the bore letting it naturally follow the rifling rather than scraping against it. This rotation reduces friction and helps protect the crown and rifling from unnecessary wear over repeated cleanings. At 30 inches the rod offers enough reach to fully clean small bore rifle barrels from breech to muzzle. A perfect fit aluminum handle gives a comfortable secure grip during use even when pushing a tight patch through a narrow .17 or .20 caliber bore. Birchwood Casey has built shooting and gun care products since 1948 and this rod reflects that long history of durable purpose built cleaning tools. Finished in black with red detailing it is easy to identify in a cleaning kit alongside other tools. For anyone maintaining a .17 or .20 caliber rifle this carbon rod offers a dependable long lasting cleaning solution.
