Description
The Black Rain Ordnance Spec 15 Kinetx is a semi-automatic AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It uses a piston operating system in place of direct impingement, which the manufacturer states runs cooler and reduces gas blowback toward the shooter's face. The rifle is intended for range use and general shooting.
The rifle has forged aluminum upper and lower receivers and a 16-inch chrome-moly barrel with a blue finish for corrosion resistance. It feeds from a 30-round magazine, and the Anchor Rail System is included. The two-tone Tungsten and Black finish covers the receivers and furniture.
Magpul pistol grip and Magpul stock are fitted. One 30-round magazine ships with the rifle.
