Its 16 inch chrome moly barrel is finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and threaded 5/8x24 to accept a wide range of muzzle devices beyond the included Castle flash suppressor. The aluminum receiver is finished in a smoke Cerakote coating for durability and a distinctive appearance while a full length Picatinny rail provides a stable mounting platform for optics. A drop-in trigger breaking at 3.5 pounds gives shooters a crisp consistent trigger pull for improved accuracy. Furniture on the SSP includes a Magpul MOE SL stock and matching black Magpul grip both chosen for their ergonomics and reliability under hard use.
