Forward Controls Design 6315RF Flash Hider - Plan B Suppressor MountThe 6315RF (Revival Defense, Forward Controls) is a Closed-Tine, Closed-Bottom, Flash Hider- and "Plan B"- Compatible Tapered Suppressor Mount, a collaboration between Forward Controls Design and Revival Defense.When designing the 6315RF, we set out to create our ideal muzzle device while incorporating the "Plan B" Type Tapered Suppressor Mount. The 6315RF and 6310RF are based on the successful FCD 6315 series of muzzle devices, which include the features that we sought to incorporate into our device. Notably, a closed tine, closed bottom flash hider, with the capability to securely mount a silencer, all whilst maintaining a profile that does not add unnecessary weight or length to the end of your rifle.The 6315RF is a closed-bottom muzzle device that requires timing to ensure the center port faces 12 O'clock Dead Center.Suppressor Compatibility :The 6315RF has .900 x 24 External threads & a taper that are compatible with Plan B Type Mounts, such as REARDEN Mounts and Various Suppressors.Note: Use of some manufacturers' silencers can void your warranty Specifications Length: 1.725" Weight: 2.08 Oz Internal Threads: 1/2x28 External Threads: 0.900 x 24 Material: 4140, Heat Treated & Nitride Wrench Flats: 3/4"TDP spec A2 and 6315RF flash suppression comparison. Predictably,16" barrels don't produce much flash signature, while occasional fireballs erupt out of a 10.5" barrel, not uncommon with short barrels. Ammo can and does change flash signature; we used Winchester M193 55-grain for testing and not low-flash ammo. 6315RF's length is shorter than that of a TDP spec A2, (1.76" overall length, with 0.79" available for ports), 6315RF is shorter (1.725" overall length, with 0.675" available for ports), its flash suppression performance is similar to the A2.
