Bowjax started with the proven effectiveness of the slipjax string dampener and made it thick enough to withstand many many shots from even the strongest of crossbows. These do require a bow press to loosen the string and insert halway between the strands. They don t require serving string but help keep them on the string longer if you tie a piece on to the tips. These are most effective for string dampening if they are 4 - 6 inches from the tips.
