Breakthrough Clean Bore Mop .17 Cal 100% Cotton White BT-17BM

Breakthrough Clean Bore Mop Features The Breakthrough Clean Bore Mop is made from 100 percent cotton a soft material chosen specifically to absorb solvent and lift fouling from the bore without scratching the rifling. Its washable design means a single mop can be reused many times over rinsed clean of solvent and fouling between cleaning sessions rather than thrown away after one use. Sized for .17 caliber rifles this mop is built to match the bore diameter closely enough to make real contact with the rifling as it travels down the barrel. That contact is what allows the mop to carry solvent evenly and pull debris out ahead of a final patch. A standard #5-40 thread pattern lets the mop attach directly to most cleaning rods already in a shooter s kit so no specialized hardware is needed to put it to use. Breakthrough Clean offers mops sized for most calibers and gauges giving shooters with multiple rifles a consistent cleaning product across their collection. Because the mop is reusable it offers better long term value than disposable patches for routine bore maintenance. Anyone maintaining a .17 caliber rifle who wants an effective washable cleaning tool will find this mop a practical addition to their cleaning kit.
