This choke will also throw a denser and more accurate pattern than a choke tube with a shorter parallel section. The longer octagon shaped end which is parallel with the bore throwing more pellets on target than a conventional choke tube. The end of the choke tube is beveled to prevent contact with the breech plug. When you pull the choke out the breech is still open allowing the release of even more shot. The end of the choke tube is also conditioned to stop any side concussion that might be produced. After shooting let the Briley Browning Invector Choke Tube cool until the constrictions of the choke tube are no longer felt.
