Aluma-Hyde II becomes dry to the touch within minutes and achieves full curing in approximately one week. The application process is as follows - heat both the part and the Aluma-Hyde II to approximately 90 deg F. Vigorously shake the Aluma-Hyde II for several minutes, then apply a medium coat to ensure adequate coverage. Reapplication can occur within a few minutes, but should not exceed thirty minutes. If Aluma-Hyde II begins curing, you must wait until it is fully cured before recoating. To reduce the curing time to approximately two days, circulate warm air (90 deg F is effective) around the part.
