Brownells Heavy Weight Nylon Chamber Brush .22 Cal for AR-15 8-32

Brownells Heavy Weight Chamber Brush Features The Brownells Heavy Weight Chamber Brush uses tough nylon bristles designed to aggressively scrub carbon and fouling from the chamber walls without the risk of scratching that stiffer bronze brushes can sometimes pose. Nylon tufts are shaped to reach into the locking lug recess an area that easily traps fouling but is often missed by standard cleaning tools. Its brass stem provides a durable corrosion resistant core that holds the bristles securely through repeated use. This version is sized specifically for .22 caliber AR-15 chambers measuring 3 7/8 inches overall. Regular use of a dedicated chamber brush helps maintain smooth chambering and reliable extraction both of which depend on a clean properly sized chamber. This brush threads onto any standard cleaning rod using an 8-32 thread making it a simple addition to an existing AR-15 cleaning kit. Because nylon bristles are gentler than bronze this brush is well suited for more frequent use without excessive wear to the chamber finish. Brownells offers this heavy weight nylon brush as a durable easy to use tool for keeping an AR-15 chamber clean.
