Brownells Heavy Weight Nylon Chamber Brush 22 Cal/5.56 8-36 Thread

Brownells Chamber Brush Features The Brownells Nylon Chamber Brush is built around a brass stem and aggressive nylon bristle design that reaches the full circumference of the chamber including the locking lug recess that standard bore brushes often miss. Nylon bristles are tough enough to scrub baked-on carbon fouling loose without scratching or wearing down the chamber s finish over repeated use. The 8-36 military thread lets the brush attach directly to a standard Cleaning Rod Small Arms so no adapter is needed for M16-pattern rifles. This makes it a simple drop-in addition to an existing cleaning routine rather than a specialty tool requiring extra parts. At 3-7/8 inches overall the brush is sized to seat fully into the chamber without over-inserting and the brass stem is threaded to resist stripping under repeated twisting during scrubbing. Shooters running M16 AR-15 or AR-10 rifles can keep one on hand as a dedicated chamber tool separate from their bore brush since the fouling patterns in the chamber differ from the bore itself. Regular use of a dedicated chamber brush like this one helps ensure reliable feeding and extraction by keeping the chamber free of the carbon ring that builds up over a shooting session. It is a small inexpensive tool that pays off in the reliability of a mil-spec rifle platform.
