Brownells AR-15 Replacement Cotton Mop for Bolt Recess

Brownells Cotton Mop Features The Brownells AR-15 Replacement Cotton Mop is designed specifically to tackle the bolt carrier way and locking lug recess of an AR-15 upper receiver areas that trap carbon fouling after every shooting session. The soft cotton material lifts loosened residue without scratching the finish of the bolt carrier group or receiver making it safe for regular use. Its 5/16-27 male thread pattern lets it screw directly onto a standard cleaning rod so no special tools or adapters are required. This makes it easy to swap into an existing AR-15 cleaning routine as a dedicated mop for the bolt recess area. As a replacement part this cotton mop is meant for shooters who already run a Brownells cleaning setup and need a fresh mop head to keep their kit stocked. The White cotton construction is soft enough to reach into tight corners of the bolt carrier way while still effectively wicking away carbon and fouling buildup. Regular use of a dedicated mop like this helps keep the AR-15 action running smoothly between deeper cleanings. It is a small inexpensive component that keeps a well-maintained AR-15 cleaning kit ready to go.
