Ideal for competitive shooters, avid hunters and mobile armorers, this kit provides the essentials for field stripping, minor repairs and cleaning of both handguns and long guns. The kit is housed in an extra-tough, 1000 denier Cordura field case with individual tool pouches, ensuring all components remain protected and organized, eliminating downtime spent searching for the right tool. Our specially configured Magna-Tip screwdriver set includes a #81 handle, a polyethylene case and a bench tray containing 23 of the most commonly used slotted, hex, Phillips and Torx bits, capable of handling the majority of gun screws. An additional miniature screwdriver set offers six double-ended Phillips, slotted and Torx quick-change bits for addressing small but critical fasteners. The knurled swivel top driver handle provides fingertip control to prevent damage or loss of tiny screws. The extra-long buttstock screwdriver facilitates quick and easy removal of most shotgun stocks. The kit also includes the most commonly used steel starter and pin punches, allowing for the easy starting, removal and installation of spring pins and roll pins without damaging the pins or the firearm. Steel punches are individually marked for size. A non-marring nylon drift punch is included for minor sight adjustments and other tasks. A smooth cut file with a handle addresses unforeseen issues requiring minor metal removal and additional handle inserts accommodate various file sizes you may wish to add. A medium grit India stone is provided for lapping, honing, sharpening or polishing small metal imperfections. Additional tools include a steel packing hook for releasing springs, a 6 inches chain nose pliers for handling small parts, a nylon bench block with a V center, a nylon/brass hammer and a double-ended gun parts cleaning brush. A soft, flexible neoprene gun mat is included to protect your firearm's finish during cleaning or repair. The field case is available in black or coyote tan.
