Brownells Chamber Mop Wool For AR-308 .308 Win 3-Pack

Brownells Chamber Mop Wool Features The Brownells Chamber Mop Wool is designed around a two-section layout that lets one tool handle two distinct cleaning jobs on an AR-308 rifle. The long narrow end reaches into the chamber itself where individually tied cotton and wool strands work like a thousand tiny fingers to lift fouling out of tight corners a standard bore brush cannot reach. The short large-diameter section is sized specifically to clean and lubricate the locking lug recesses an area that traps burnt powder residue after repeated firing. Together the two ends mean a shooter can fully service the chamber area in one pass instead of switching tools mid-cleaning. Each mop is threaded 8-32 male so it attaches directly to any standard cleaning rod already in a shooter s kit and the wool and cotton construction holds solvent and lubricant well without shedding lint into the action. At approximately 3 inches long the mop is sized to seat fully in the chamber without over-insertion giving consistent repeatable cleaning results. Sold as a 3 pack this quantity is well suited to a single owner maintaining one or two AR-308 rifles. It is a simple purpose-built accessory that keeps a critical part of the rifle s action running clean and reliable.
