Whenever a new gun bluing product enters the market, we conduct tests on a section of a gun barrel. We apply the bluing to three spots, one of which is treated with T-4. After one day, we begin rubbing all three areas with steel wool until one shows signs of wear. Thus far, T-4 has proven to be the most durable.
