Brownells Ratchet Chamber Brush .308 Caliber for Springfield Armory M14/M1A

Brownells Ratchet Chamber Brush Features The Brownells Ratchet Chamber Brush uses an offset ratchet design that allows the brush to rotate freely within the chamber giving a more thorough scrubbing action than a fixed brush can achieve on rifles with a closed-end receiver. This design is particularly useful on the M14 and M1A platform where the closed receiver limits access for standard cleaning rods and brushes. Premium quality bronze wire is bonded between twisted steel loops and soldered at the tip for extra strength ensuring the brush holds up to repeated use without unraveling. A quarter inch diameter cleaning rod is used to actuate the plastic ratchet mechanism rotating the bronze wire against the chamber walls. This brush is sized specifically for .308 caliber chambers only making it purpose built for the Springfield Armory M14 and M1A rather than a general purpose tool. Its 4 inch overall length is matched to reach the full depth of the M14 and M1A chamber for a complete clean. Regular chamber cleaning helps maintain reliable extraction and consistent chambering in these semi-auto service rifles. Brownells offers this ratchet brush as a purpose designed solution for M14 and M1A owners seeking a more thorough chamber cleaning method.
