Brownells AR-15 Chamber Brush 22 Caliber 8-32 Thread

Brownells AR-15 Chamber Brush 8-32 Thread Features The Brownells AR-15 Chamber Brush follows the original military design used to service the chamber of AR-15 pattern rifles ensuring bronze bristles seat correctly against the chamber walls for a thorough clean. Its stainless steel tufts are cut longer than the bronze bristles specifically to reach the locking lug recesses an area often missed by standard brushes and one where carbon buildup can affect reliable lockup. Meeting MIL-B-20100C specification the brush is built to the same standard trusted by military armorers. At 3 7/8 inches in length it is sized correctly for direct chamber access on the AR-15 platform. Fitted with an 8-32 male thread this chamber brush attaches to any standard cleaning rod without adapters making it easy to add to an existing cleaning kit. The AR-308/AR-10 pattern of this brush is offered at a slightly longer 4 3/8 inches to match that platform s larger chamber dimensions while still using the same 8-32 thread standard. Regular use of a dedicated chamber brush like this one helps maintain consistent extraction and headspace performance over the life of the rifle. It is a small inexpensive tool that belongs in every serious AR owner s range bag.
