Brownells Rust and Blue Remover, 1 qt

During the bluing process, the application of an effective rust remover is often necessary. This is particularly true for antique firearms that are too delicate for polishing, firearms that have been severely neglected and do not justify the expense of a thorough polishing and firearms that are so extensively rusted that removing all the rust and debris would be excessively time-consuming. Our Rust Remover is available in a concentrated form. To prepare the solution, mix one quart of the concentrate with one quart of pure water, resulting in two quarts of operational rust remover. The formulation is designed to target only rusted steel, without affecting the intact steel, provided the immersion duration is not excessively prolonged - typically several hours. The rust and old bluing will be entirely eliminated, leaving only clean steel, ready for polishing.
