Description
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, built for hunting in woods and mountains as well as target shooting at the range. It uses a redesigned receiver with an added bolt guidance surface for smooth cycling, and a new bolt with spiral fluting and a revised handle knob to reduce weight.
The rifle has a 22-inch sporter-contour stainless steel barrel with an M13x0.75 threaded muzzle, an overall length of 42 inches, and a weight of 6.15 pounds. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated. The DLX three-lever trigger is factory set at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.
The rifle has a 4-round capacity and ships with a radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap. A Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake is available as an optional accessory.
