Description
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built for hunting in the 6.8 Western chambering. It has a walnut stock with a satin finish, a steel receiver, and a matte blued finish on the metal. The rifle is supplied without iron sights and is prepared for an optic, using the X-Lock scope mounting system.
The 24-inch sporter-contour barrel keeps the rifle light and easy to carry, at about 6.1 pounds and an overall length of 42.75 inches. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated. The bolt has a short 60-degree throw and a redesigned bolt guide surface for smoother cycling. The DLX three-lever trigger is preset at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds. The magazine holds four rounds.
