The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion Carbon Fiber was developed for the hunter that prefers the tradition of a wood stock and appreciates the improvements that technology provides. Each barrel begins as a blank that is precision bored and button rifled before being stress relieved. The barrels use a stronger, stiffer carbon fiber wrapping process rather than simple carbon fiber sleeve or tube construction like less expensive designs that offer the carbon fiber look without the functional benefits of the wrapping process. Barrels come in standard lengths that vary by caliber. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and is ready for use with an optional suppressor.
