Description
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built for hunters who cover ground and want a light, maneuverable carry rifle. It is suited to whitetail hunting and to larger game such as elk, according to the retailer's description.
The 24-inch fluted sporter contour barrel is made from stainless steel and keeps the rifle light, with a stated weight of 6.1 pounds and an overall length of 44 inches. The barrel is free floated and the action is bedded for consistent accuracy. The Cerakote Smoked Bronze finish covers the action and barrel. The DLX trigger is preset at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds. The rifle has a 4-round capacity and no factory sights.
The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 to accept the included radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap. An optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake is available for additional recoil reduction.
