Browning Stormy Pass Trapper Wood Damascus Folding Knife 3" Blade

Browning Stormy Pass Trapper Features The Browning Stormy Pass Trapper is built around a 3 inch Damascus steel blade a construction method that layers and forges steel to produce both a distinctive visual pattern and a durable cutting edge. A dark etched finish on the blade brings out the contrast in the Damascus layers giving the knife a striking traditional appearance. Stainless steel bolsters and a guard add strength and durability at the points of the knife that see the most stress during use. The Rockwell hardness of 56 to 58 keeps the blade able to take and hold an edge without becoming overly brittle. A walnut wood handle finished in brown gives the Stormy Pass Trapper a warm classic look that pairs naturally with the Damascus blade pattern. At a closed length of 3.25 inches and an open length of 6.25 inches the knife folds down to a compact pocketable size while still offering a full-size cutting edge when open. The trapper pattern traditionally carries two blades giving the user flexibility for different cutting tasks from fine detail work to heavier-duty cutting.
