Equal parts "classic" and "modern," the Browning X-Bolt 2 White Gold Medallion Bolt-Action Rifle in White Gold is perfect for the hunter who wants the traditional appeal of a wood stock along with the improvements that only modern technology can provide. Like all X-Bolts, the X-Bolt 2 White Gold starts with a steel receiver that's glass-bedded within the walnut stock. Glass bedding is an extremely intensive and time-consuming process, but it produces a true free-floated barrel that produces consistent accuracy without interference from unnecessary contact points. The action is bedded within a beautiful Grade V/VI walnut Monte Carlo-style stock with gloss finish and rosewood caps along with flawless checkering. The barrel comes topped with a stainless steel, radial-style muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil. Functionally, the action has been upgraded with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling; the spiral-fluted bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with an improved handle and bolt knob. Completing the package is the DLX 3-lever trigger that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel. The DLX trigger comes pre-set from the factory at 3.5 lbs., and is adjustable down to 3 lbs. Other features include a short 60 bolt lift for optics clearance, X-Lock Scope Mounting System, and 1.25" Inflex recoil pad.
