At the core of this rifle is a sturdier and heavier full-diameter receiver, offering enhanced stability. An alignment flat is meticulously machined into the receiver to facilitate scope alignment and leveling. The recoil lug is pinned to the receiver, ensuring precise orientation should the barrel require replacement. Securing the included 20 MOA Picatinny optics rail are four oversize 8-40 screws, supplemented by an additional steel pin that firmly anchors the rail to the receiver. The bolt boasts a lengthened handle, resulting in reduced opening force. X-Bolt target rifles are outfitted with the xtra capacity magazine system, which seamlessly integrates popular accuracy international chassis system (AICS) pattern magazines. These magazines are available in capacities of 5 and 10-rounds. The X-Bolt target rifle is accompanied by an MDT 10-rounds polymer box magazine.
