BSF Barrels AR-15 22 ARC 22" 1-7 Threaded Carbon Fiber Barrel

Bsf Barrels AR-15 Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels AR-15 Barrel starts as a turned-down 416R stainless steel match barrel before being jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension. This jacketing method was chosen specifically over simply wrapping the barrel in carbon fiber since that approach has been shown to trap heat and cause delamination over time. The carbon fiber used is engineered to expand at the same rate as the 416R stainless steel underneath it keeping the two materials working together rather than against each other as the barrel heats. Slots machined into the carbon fiber allow air to circulate around the barrel venting heat more quickly without introducing delamination risk. Chambered in .22 ARC with a 1:7 twist rate the 22 button rifled barrel is built for AR-platform rifles and finished with a 5/8x24 thread pattern for muzzle device compatibility. Because the carbon fiber sleeve is under tension the barrel maintains straighter rifling the warmer it gets compared to a conventional barrel helping preserve accuracy during extended strings of fire. At 35.20 oz the barrel is notably lighter than a comparable all-steel barrel reducing the overall weight of an AR build without compromising stiffness or strength. The Bsf Barrels AR-15 Barrel is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for shooters who want a lightweight accuracy-focused barrel for their .22 ARC build.
