Description
The Burris Droptine 3-9x40mm is a rifle scope in a matte black finish, designed for 22 LR rimfire rifles and airguns. It offers 3-9x magnification with a 40mm objective lens for general-purpose use on small-bore firearms.
The scope uses a Ballistic Plex 22LR reticle, which is calibrated for .22 LR ammunition with its focus set at 50 yards and includes holdovers for longer shots. The turrets are finger-adjustable, and the lenses are multi-coated for low-light performance and glare resistance. Internal components are double-spring tensioned for shock resistance.
The scope is listed for 22 LR rimfire and airgun use. Note that the reticle is calibrated for 22 LR loads, so it is not intended for centerfire ammunition, which uses a separate reticle with focus set at 100 yards. The product is covered by the Burris Forever Warranty.
