Description
The Burris Xtreme Tactical 30mm scope ring is a single aluminum ring for mounting a 30mm scope tube on a Picatinny or Weaver-style base. It is built for tactical shooting and for rifles subject to heavy recoil, including varmint and big game rifles used in hard hunting.
This medium ring has a 1/2 inch height and a matte black finish. The ring uses six screws, three per side, and the manufacturer lists a torque of 20 in/lbs for the ring tops and 65 to 100 in/lbs for the ring cross bolt.
The ring is sold as a single ring or as a pair. Ring heights are available in four sizes, and the 1 inch height is noted for AR-15 and M16 flattop receivers.
