The Burris Xtreme Tactical 1" High Scope Rings are two-piece scope rings in a matte black finish, built to hold a scope firmly on a Picatinny or Weaver-style base. They are intended for tactical shooting and for rifles subject to heavy recoil, including varmint, big game and magnum calibers.
The rings are machined from aluminum and secured with six screws, three per side, to keep the scope in place for consistent return-to-zero. The 1" height is designed for scopes mounted on AR-15 and M16 flattop receivers, where it supports a proper cheek weld. Ring tops are torqued to 20 in-lbs and the cross bolts to 65 to 100 in-lbs.
