The Burris Xtreme Tactical Extra High scope rings are two-piece mounts for 1 inch tube scopes, built to hold a scope in the same position for repeatable return-to-zero. They are designed for Picatinny or Weaver-style rails and are intended for tactical shooting, varmint rifles, and big game rifles subject to heavy recoil.
The rings are made from aluminum with a matte black finish. Each ring uses six screws, three per side. The raw specifications list ring-top torque at 20 in/lbs and ring cross bolt torque at 65 to 100 in/lbs.
The extra high height is suited to scopes on AR15 and M16 flattop receivers and provides proper cheek weld. The rings are sold as single rings or as pairs.
