Butler Creek Flip-Open Eyepiece Scope Cover #17 42.5mm Black

The Butler Creek Flip-Open Eyepiece Scope Cover #17 is a black polymer lens cover that protects a riflescope eyepiece from dust and moisture. It opens with a spring-loaded push button, so the lens can be uncovered quickly when a shot is ready.

This slip-on cover is sized for eyepiece lenses 42.5 mm (1.675 in) in diameter. A friction mount and semi O-ring hold it in place and help seal out contaminants when it is closed.

To confirm fit, check the scope's owner's manual or measure the eyepiece outside diameter with calipers. Butler Creek recommends choosing the cover whose diameter falls 0.01 to 0.025 in (0.25 to 0.64 mm) under the measured value.
