Description
This adapter plate mounts an RMR-pattern or Holosun-style red dot sight to Sig Sauer P226 and P229 pistols in the RX, Pro and AXG Scorpion R1P configurations. It is intended for slides milled for the Romeo 1 Pro or Romeo 1, and the plate is a Sig-specific fitment, so verify your slide cut before installation. The plate is machined from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish.
The plate uses replaceable 416 stainless steel T-posts that thread into the slide, with stainless steel mounting hardwareproviding six to seven threads of engagement. Per the manufacturer, the plate measures .095 to .099 inches thick in the V4 MIL/LEO version. The T-nut design is intended to hold the optic securely under recoil.
