C. Sharps 1863 Cavalry Carbine 50-70 Government Single-Shot Rifle

This C. Sharps Model 1863 rifle chambered in .50-70 Government, serial number C27570, is a classic single-shot falling-block rifle that remains in good antique condition for its age. The metal surfaces display an even gray-brown patina with handling wear consistent with decades of use, while the walnut stock and forend show scattered dings, scratches, and honest field wear.
