The AyA No.4 is a classic Spanish-made boxlock side-by-side shotgun, produced by Aguirre y Aranzabal in Spain. It's one of AyA's most popular models, historically favored for its traditional build, smooth operation, and versatility in the field. Case-colored boxlock with extractor, forged steel action, double trigger, and tang safety. Straight English walnut, finely chequered, with wood grade 2 English scroll engraving. The No.4 was a staple in AyA's lineup, especially before over-and-under shotguns became dominant. It's valued for its traditional bench-made quality, with fewer internal parts than sidelocks. This example is in great shape and shows previous owner took very good care of it.
