Description
The Miroku 3800 12-gauge shotgun featuring a 28-inch barrel is a premium, Japanese-manufactured over-and-under (O/U) shotgun. Produced primarily throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, the 3800 is legendary among clay target and field shooters for its near-indestructible build quality. It shares a nearly identical mechanical lineage with the renowned Browning Citori (both being built by B.C. Miroku in Kochi, Japan). The Monobloc Production System creates a single separate steel block containing the chambers and locking lugs. This system is extraordinarily expensive to produce. Today, this technique is typically reserved for best grade premium shotguns costing tens of thousands of dollars, making older production guns that feature them-like the Miroku 3800 highly sought after by collectors.
