This Remington Model 30 Express bolt-action rifle in .30-06 Springfield, serial number 19550, remains a solid example of a classic American sporting rifle. The rifle shows honest field use with handling marks and finish wear consistent with age, while retaining an attractive wood stock and clean overall appearance. Included with the rifle are a leather sling and a Bushnell Sportview scope, making it a practical hunting package for the field or a worthy addition to a vintage firearms collection. Produced from 1921 through 1940, the Remington Model 30 was derived from surplus Model 1917 Enfield actions and earned a reputation for strength, reliability, and accuracy. Based on the serial number range, this rifle was likely manufactured during the late 1920s to early 1930s.
