Description
This Tula Model 1895 Nagant revolver, chambered in 7.65mm, is a scarce and collectible military sidearm with serial number 18692. Based on the visible markings, this example was manufactured in 1937 at the Tula Arsenal, as indicated by the Tula star crest and dated factory marking on the frame. The revolver retains much of its original finish with honest handling wear, light edge wear, and scattered patina consistent with age. The checkered wood grips remain intact and show typical use. Originally designed by Belgian brothers Émile and Lon Nagant, the Model 1895 Nagant revolver was adopted by Imperial Russia and remained in service through the Soviet era. Tula-produced examples such as this 1937 revolver saw widespread military and security service before and during World War II.
