Description
The Caldwell E-Max Pro Low Profile Youth is an electronic hearing protector designed for young shooters, including shotgun and action shooting use. Its low-profile cup design is intended to sit comfortably under other shooting gear.
Built-in microphones amplify sounds below 85 decibels so the wearer can hear range commands and surrounding conversation, and shut off sounds above 85 decibels to reduce exposure to loud gunfire. The unit is listed in neon green.
The earmuffs operate on AAA batteries. The retailer text is inconsistent on the battery count, listing both two and three; batteries are not included with the product.
