Caldwell Prairie Dog Popper Auto Reset Steel Target AR500

The Caldwell Prairie Dog Popper Auto Reset is a steel shooting target designed for rifle practice. It uses a yellow, prairie dog shaped AR500 steel plate mounted on a free-standing frame, so it can be set up on open ground without a backstop structure.

The popper is made from AR500 steel, which the listing describes as rifle-rated target steel. When struck, the target falls backward and resets automatically through an integrated reset spring. The frame base sits 7 inches off the ground. For maximum service life, the manufacturer recommends impact velocities of 3,000 fps or below and impact energies of 3,500 ft. lbs. or less.

Each target includes the frame, the popper plate, and ground stakes for anchoring.
