This steel strikes a good balance between blade hardness and corrosion resistance, and to add an extra layer of fortitude to the blade the steel is bonded with Carbonitride Titanium. This bonding process makes for a blade that can not only resist rust and corrosion far better than standard knife blades, but it makes it up to 10x harder than untreated steel. Thanks to this extra hardness, the blade can retain its edge even longer.
