Case XX Lockback Features The Case Lockback carries a Tru-Sharp stainless steel drop point blade a steel formula Case developed to hold an edge well while resisting corrosion through regular carry and use. The plain edge geometry is suited to clean controlled cuts across everyday tasks like opening packages cutting cordage or general utility work. A nail nick opening lets the user deploy the blade with one hand once practiced while the lockback mechanism holds the blade firmly open during use and requires a deliberate release to fold it closed. The smooth natural bone handle gives this knife a warm traditional appearance that distinguishes it from modern synthetic-handled folders while still providing a secure comfortable grip. Bone handles develop their own natural patina and character over years of carry and use making each knife slightly unique to its owner.
