Caspian 1911 Commander Receiver Carbon 25 LPI Checkering

Build an outstanding, custom 1911 using one of these top-quality, single-stack receivers as the foundation. Models and features available for any custom project needs. Precision cast from carbon or stainless steel, and CNC machined to final dimensions. Heat treated to Rc 22-24 for optimum performance and durability. Oversize frame rails allow the gunsmith to achieve an exceptionally tight slide-to-frame fit for more consistent accuracy. Select models available with smooth front strap or with crisp CNC machine-cut checkering. Commander models are available with 25 lpi checkered front strap and pre-cut to accept barrels with Nowlin/Wilson-style feed ramp OR available in a plain, unche Mfg: Caspian SPECS: 4140 carbon steel (CS), in-the-white, or 416 stainless steel (SS).
