Rather than serving as a dedicated 7.62x39 or AK suppressor, the AKB is engineered as a general-purpose .30 caliber system for DI, piston, bolt-action, and modern gas-operated rifles.Its internal architecture is designed to handle the high gas loads associated with short-barrel rifles while maintaining controlled back pressure across precision and long-range platforms. The AKB uses CAT's SBX technology and is optimized around 2,500-2,800 fps velocities, with a 16-inch SR-25 listed as its optimized platform.The 6.04-inch suppressor features a 1.60-inch diameter and a 1.375x24 HUB interface, providing compatibility with a wide range of mounting solutions.
