Description
The Charles Daly AR-12A is a 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun built on an AR-15 style platform for defensive and general-purpose use. It runs on a gas operating system that cycles the action automatically, which reduces felt recoil compared with a blowback or pump design and speeds up follow-up shots.
The aluminum receiver keeps the 8.2 pound weight manageable, while the 18.5 inch steel barrel holds up to repeated firing. A Picatinny rail on the receiver accepts an optic or red dot sight, and flip-up front and rear sights serve as a backup. The single stage trigger, black synthetic adjustable stock, and rubber recoil pad complete the package. A modified Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke tube ships with the shotgun.
The shotgun holds 5 rounds plus one in the chamber and accepts 3 inch 12 gauge shells. Overall length is 37.9 inches.
