Description
The Charter Arms Pitbull Stainless is a double-action revolver chambered in 40 S&W, designed for concealed carry and close-range defense. It is built on the frame of the earlier .44 Bulldog with a shorter barrel and a dual-coil spring assembly in the extractor, which allows rimless 40 S&W cartridges to be inserted and retained in each chamber without moon clips, and makes ejecting spent cases straightforward.
The revolver has a 2.3-inch barrel and an overall length of 7.32 inches. Its 416 stainless steel frame carries a matte finish, and it uses fixed front sights. The five-round cylinder and a total weight of 1.25 pounds keep the gun compact and light.
