Charter Arms Merlot .38 Special 2" 5-Round Revolver

Charter Arms Merlot Features The Charter Arms Merlot operates on a proven double action and single action trigger system giving the shooter the option of a smooth double action pull for rapid defensive shots or a lighter single action pull for deliberate precision. Its 2 barrel keeps the overall length to a compact 6.75 allowing the revolver to disappear into a pocket holster or waistband rig without printing. The transfer bar safety mechanism blocks the firing pin from contacting a cartridge unless the trigger is fully pressed adding a real layer of protection for daily carry. This straightforward snag-free design is built for shooters who want a small trustworthy handgun ready the moment it is needed. Built on a lightweight alloy frame the Merlot keeps carry weight down to just 12.0 oz reducing fatigue for all-day wear on the hip or in a bag. The Black and Merlot finish gives the revolver a distinctive two-tone look that sets it apart from an all-black carry gun while the wood grips with a synthetic grip surface provide a secure purchase and help tame recoil in a small-frame .38 Spl. Fixed sights keep the profile snag-free for a fast presentation from concealment and the double action centerfire design remains simple to operate under stress. For shooters who want a lightweight distinctively finished revolver for concealed carry or as a reliable backup piece the Charter Arms Merlot delivers a dependable package ready for daily use.
