Description
The Chiappa Rhino 40SAR is a single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 4-inch barrel and a 6-round cylinder. Its distinctive design fires from the bottom of the cylinder, lowering the bore axis close to the shooter's palm to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil. This California-compliant single-action-only variant is built for range shooting and handgun practice.
The revolver has a nickel-plated aluminum frame and barrel shroud, weighs about 1.87 pounds, and measures 8.5 inches overall. It features a fixed fiber optic front sight and an adjustable fiber optic rear sight, a hexagonal cylinder that keeps the width to a minimum, and a concealed, snag-resistant hammer with a visible cocked indicator. A Picatinny rail on the underside of the barrel accommodates lights or lasers.
The package includes moon clips for use with the cylinder. Walnut grips are fitted.
