Chiappa Firearms X-Caliber 12ga/.380 Gauge Adapter Insert. 380 Gauge Adapter Insert converts a .380 Auto pistol to fire a 12 Gauge Remington cartridge. Once fired the .380 Caliber round becomes a .12 Gauge round and the 12 Gauge round converts to a .12 gauge round. To convert back remove the bolt and slide the .12ga round into the slide once to check the alignment. Make sure the bolt is fully home as this can be challenging to tell the two calibers apart. Once the insert is home check this out with our X-Caliber conversion kit (sold separately) and install the adapter in reverse order to eliminate any possible damage to the internal components.
