Chiappa Model 101 Shotgun, 36 Gauge, 26″ Barrel

The Chiappa Model 101 Shotgun chambered in "36 Gauge" with a 26" barrel features a clever bit of naming nomenclature. In many European and South American countries, "36 Gauge" is the traditional regulatory name for .410 Bore. The layout relies on an ultra-compact break-open hinge design. Compressing the finger lever positioned directly in front of the trigger guard completely unlocks the action, allowing the barrel to fold flat against the buttstock for easy transit or tight storage in a field bag. The standard entry-level Checkered Walnut wood configurations predominantly feature a permanent, non-removable Fixed Modified (Mod) Choke profile built directly into the muzzle steel.
