Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40DS L Frame .44 Mag 4 Barrel 6-Rounds

Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40DS L Frame Features The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40DS is chambered in .44 Mag and built around Chiappa s distinctive low-bore-axis cylinder design which fires from the bottom chamber rather than the top to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil. The 4 barrel is rifled with a 1-20 twist paired with a double and single action trigger system that gives the shooter flexibility between a long double-action pull or a crisp single-action break. An adjustable fiber optic rear sight paired with a fiber optic front sight makes for fast precise sight acquisition especially valuable with a cartridge as powerful as the .44 Mag. An internal hammer block safety adds a layer of protection against accidental discharge. The 7075-T6 alloy frame is finished in black giving the revolver a durable corrosion-resistant exterior that holds up under range use and field carry. Hogue overmolded rubber grips with twin finger stops help manage the substantial recoil of full-power .44 Mag loads keeping the revolver controllable through repeated strings of fire. A Picatinny rail on the forend offers the option to add a light or laser for low-light or defensive applications. At just 2.54 lbs and a 9 overall length the Chiappa Rhino 40DS delivers genuine .44 Mag power in a surprisingly manageable well-balanced revolver.
